Super value for the money. The graduations appear to be smooth and without noticeable aberrations. The folding pouch works great for securing and protecting the the filters. As with Cokin filters, always be careful to grab the filters by the outer edge, so as not to mar their optical faces. I have used them on a number of photos since purchasing them to allow me to lower light levels while photographing water to achieve that desirable milky effect on high light days, and did not notice any degradation of clarity or image quality. One suggestion for improvement would be to a couple of pockets in the pouch to hold the necessary couple of adapter rings.

Great value on the dollar – definitely compare to more expensive systems. The far majority of us looking at filters in this price range are probably amateurs or even just looking to have fun. Most of these affects could be achieved in post-processing on a computer these days, but I still prefer to get it “right” (to my eye anyway) in the camera – it gives me the baseline RAW file that I want to work with; that’s my preference — when it comes down to it, personal preference is what matters. Unless you are doing a large gallery print – 90% of the time a photo doesn’t need to be pixel perfect, it just needs to be nice to look at.

    Pros:
    Great price
    Wide range of adapters
Can put multiple filters in at once
Can adjust the graduated filters to where you want the “line” to be unlike circular screw in filters
    Holds filters really tight

    Cons:
Feels like they can get scratched easy – took mine to some sand dunes yesterday; should be able to tell when I get home and clean them (two year old thought it would be awesome to drop a pile of sand on them at one point)
At wider angles of view (I was using a Nikkor 18-200 DX VR lens) I was getting a LOT of vignette. I still need to try it with some of my prime lenses, but I’m expecting the same on the wider angles.
I either did not received the “brown” filters or they are a lot more orange than the picture indicates — I will be double checking when I get home and contacting the seller if I didn’t get them.
Filters only came in flimsy plastic sleeves rather than the hard plastic cases indicated in the picture. Also, they fit really, really lose in the cloth holder — I had a bunch fall out on me every time I tried opening it. I will be figuring out a different system for carrying these filters with me when I want them.

Overall though – I can’t complain, especially at this price. Great learning tool for those; especially for those of us who are out to have fun. These may be good-enough for pro use, but I can’t speak to that.
