I don’t want that I’ll drop it so many times I’m happy with my nice 5d grip
This actually looks like an awesome little camera! Would be a great backkup for my t3i
Does Canon really know what they are doing? They had the disasterous EOS-M camera, their entry level AF continures to be years behind the competition, their 200-400mm lens is no where to be seen two years after they announced it.
PS. I am a Canon user.
This camera is aimed at people considering a mirrorless like the fuji X100 or the Olympus OMD as their first camera. Canon wants to fuel the DSLR market – buy a small DSLR, then move on to a bigger one!
Sure…
I’m actually the CEO of Twitter.
Yes, I’m sure you could make a much better company.
All they’re trying to do is duplicate what Sony’s already done (and what looks like not as well, in a bigger package) w/ their by now well established NEX line of cameras.
GREAT, I BUY ONE, NOT WORK WITH PHOTOGRAPHY, AND FUN WITH AN SRL SIZE OF A SUPER ZOOM, FOR ME IDEAL

I cannot imagine why anyone would buy that camera.
Canon lol. What a joke of a company.
Come on people, this is a fixed eos-m, with better autofocus, added an ovf, and and better grip. And best of all no extra cost for those add ons. Come on!!!
totaly get bored on this vid , i heard this one bef. like d old t2i story
Look, you hold it by two fingers! It will be impossible to use it with even a bit of comfort. Who needs “even lighter and smaller” camera???
but will it blend?
Clean your nails 😉
What in the world are Canon thinking with this? They really haven’t got the whole mirrorless thing have they? It’s rather sad to see Canon coming up with stuff like this. How does a shop sell this over a mirrorless camera? It’s bulky, ugly and ageing SLR technology already left in the dust by older mirrorless cameras.Whatever money Canon wasted developing this should have been spent fixing the EOS-M.
i think i like it. but canon? is it worth it? 😀
Meh, I’ll buy it just as a backup lol
put a ff sensor in it and we will talk
