Question by shazziiee: Where can I develop the negatives from a Lomo camera?
I wanna get a lomo camera (still deciding between a Holga or a Diana+) but since it’s analog, I’m more worried about where I can develop the negatives. Since digital cameras are more common now, do photo shops still accept negatives? I live in London and do not have a darkroom. Do you any of you know of any place where I can develop the negatvies?

Most photo shops or chemist shops can get the film (size 120, 70mm) developed and printed for you.
Professional photographers still use this format. It is the size for a Hasselblad or Rolleiflex.
Lomo’s are fun.

First buy the Holga as it is much cheaper, it should be less than £8 in London.
I have both, and I much prefer the Holga for its ethereal artistic photos.
My Diana, at 4 times the price just takes poor photos.
You might also consider a lomo masterpiece: the Kodak Instamatic camera: Link 2 – these pocket size cameras are sturdy and use a 35mm wide film. They are readily available at rummage sales and online usually for less than £1. Find one with the special cartridge already in place and you can reload the cartridge as many times as you want. You can also buy the 126 cartridges (which are no longer manufactured) at many local chemists and labs for £1 or less:

If you are planning to shoot Black and White film it is much cheaper to develop the film at home, see Link 1 below.
You might also join a photo club, especially in London which lets members use a darkroom.
You do not need a darkroom, only about £20 worth of gear and chemicals from Jessops Link 3 below.
