CanvasPops New Photo Technology Will Allow Users to Print Facebook Photos at Any Size

New York, NY (PRWEB) March 13, 2012

CanvasPop is fighting back in the battle against the demise of analog photos. As they continue to cement their position as the global leader in personalized digital art, today the company announced the launch of its ground-breaking new service that allows users to print Facebook photos.

Were empowering Facebooks community of over 800 million users to do something that was not previously possible to enlarge even the tiniest of files into large format art for their walls, said Adrian Salamunovic, co-founder. The market opportunity for this is huge.

Facebook is the largest online repository for photos on the planet, bigger than all other photo sharing sites combined. Its 10,000 times larger than the photo catalog in the Library of Congress; there are over 150 billion images stored on Facebook and more than 100 million additional images are uploaded daily.

“We learned a lot from Kodak’s failure to innovate in an ever-changing market, said Salamunovic. We want to make sure we never stop listening to major trend changes in our industry and will continue to take advantage of new exciting opportunities in the marketplace.”

With some of peoples best and most cherished photo memories being stored on Facebook, the biggest problem from a printing perspective has been dealing with the very low resolution the files are stored at. CanvasPop spent the last two years developing a process that allows customers to print Facebook photos at virtually any size without having to worry about anything technical. The images are guaranteed to look great.

As a bonus, Facebook users will also now be able to give a photo gift without spoiling the surprise. This new service will allow people to access their friends Facebook photos directly on the CanvasPop web page as well as their own. As long as they are tagged in the picture or have permission to view the photo, they can create the perfect gift of highly personalised art without the headache.

Were focused on continual innovation and developing amazing products and services that our customers absolutely love, said Nazim Ahmed, co-founder. We build everything around the needs of our customers by listening to them. Now, they can enjoy their images as art no matter where they are stored.

Behind the scenes, CanvasPop focused on developing 8 unique studio-grade filters that are specifically designed to look amazing when you print Facebook photos on canvas. These range from artistic Sketch and Oil Painting looks to lo-fi inspired effects like Polaroid and Lomo.

CanvasPop cares about great results as much as their clients do and offers a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. This includes being sent a free digital proof before orders are printed. No surprises, just amazing art.

For those who help spread the word about CanvasPops amazing new Facebook print service, the company will be awarding a 16×20 canvas print to one winner each day as a thank you during the initial launch period. Fans can also use promo code FACEBOOK20 for 20% off Facebook orders for a limited time.
