Olympus PEN E-PL2 Hands-on Review

Less than 2 years on since Olympus first introduced the E-P1 and we are already on the 4th Micro Four-Thirds camera. The latest, the E-PL2, is in the same mould as the E-PL1 but it’s not quite a replacement as such. Watch the video to find out whether this camera is worth upgrading to or not. 1. as i said a REASONABLE price…. 300$ is not reasonable for a camera of this age especially since this is now becoming three generations behind the new models.

  2. Pm 1 has better battery, is lighter, has better continuos drive, better videography, more focus points and costs more than 100 € less

  3. I’ve been very happy with the EPL1. It takes great pictures. Period. I went micro 4/3 because I wanted burst mode shooting, changeable lenses AND most importantly the smaller size. I just would not carry a full DSLR with me. I recently bought the Zuiko 17mm pancake lens *used for $200 US) and I’m really loving the camera all over again. It really makes if portable.

  4. I can’t decide between the Epl1, Epl2, or the GF2. Any comments would be helpful. I don’t really plan on doing much low light. Also, this would be my first micro 4/3 purchase.

  5. Painfully long for the amount of info provided in the review. Could have easily been done in less than half the time. I’ve watched as few on this camera and this is clearly the longest with the last amount of info. The guy tries way to hard to be cheeky and it was just annoying.

  6. This was my first M43 camera & I regret having sold it as I went to canon & now I am back to M43 with my E-M5 but I miss the kit lens & the grip quality of the E-PL2 and it’s nostalgia now for me.
