Okay value for the money,
That said, I was pleased with this purchase with only one serious objection. The filter holder works well, and the 52mm filter holder adapter screws nicely in to my Nikor 18-55mm kit lens, and into a 52mm circular polarizer I use as well. The filters themselves are plastic (resin?), so treat them carefully – they’ll scratch easily if care is not exercised. But that’s also true of the more expensive Cokin filters and some of the other premium priced brands as well.
My one serious objection? Well, the ‘neutral’ in graduated neutral density is supposed to mean neutral in color – i.e., the density filter shading should pass colors with out affecting them nor adding any color of its own. The ND2 (1 stop) GND filter is okay, but the ND4 (2 stops) GND filter has a noticeable magenta cast, and the ND8 (3 stops) has a very pronounced magenta cast. I guess this is where the cheap part comes in. Interestingly enough the 3 solid neutral density filters exhibit only a slight amount of magenta cast, although the ND8 filter does show the magenta cast noticeably. Here’s the good news, such as it is – if you shoot RAW, then you’ll easily be able to remove the magenta cast in your RAW file post processing. You probably won’t want to be doing this forever, but for experimenting on the cheap this isn’t too burdensome.
All in all, this is a pretty good $21 value, albeit not perfect. But at this price point you’d be foolish to expect perfection.

A Good Product – If You Understand its Shortcomings,
The mounting rings are made of metal and feel durable.
The filter holder (that mounts to the rings) is made of plastic. However it also feels durable.
The only shortcoming this has is that the filters themselves are made of some type of a resin (best guess) and not glass.
They feel like a VERY soft plastic. They are extremely susceptible to scratches and you WILL be replacing them at some point.
However, they case they come in is very nice and collapses to a very small size to fit in your camera bag.
These Filters are a clone of a name brand and even the name brand filters are easily scratched.
The strength of this system is that it can mount to every lens you currently have and offers minor to extreme stops of light as needed.
If you’re shooting typically with only 1 or two lenses, you may be better off buying the screw on lenses (albeit more expensive). If you need graduated filters, own multiple lenses, or want a more configurable system; This is the one to buy.
Just understand that these ND filters should be considered “Wear and Tear Items” that you will be replacing periodically.
