Question by R.L.143: Ideas for the name of a photography business?
Alright so I’m trying to figure out a name for my photography. Something that I can put at the bottom of my pictures so no one steals them and so people know they’re mine. Something simple would be great! I don’t do serious photography, just mostly for my entertainment and instagram lol 🙂
I mostly take pictures of animals, but I don’t want my name to be something like “animal_photography” or something cheesy.

“Your Name Photography”.
That way you don’t sound 10, and it can stay with you forever. Unlike “Blue Bubbles Photography” or something.

Trust me, your photos are not good enough to steal.
What’s your main inspiration? What’s your favourite animal? What’s the first picture you took that really got you excited and into photography? What is your favourite event in nature? Do you want it to be professional and eye catching? Draw inspiration from these ideas and write down any names that come to mind. Good, bad, doesn’t matter, just write them down! You’ll generate a list, give it a few days, just thinking and contemplating, writing down and improving on what you’ve already got. Then start narrowing down your list and then pick one.
Don’t jump on the “Your Name” Photography bandwagon! In an artistic field it lacks creativity and imagination.
Think of the feelings you’d like to convey with your photography, perhaps try and hint at that in your name. It can be always changed down the road, don’t be too stressed out about it. Be creative!

Nature’s Shade is kinda interesting, shade can be used in two ways there, and they both work. I also really like Wild By Design, especially for a wildlife focus.
I chose ‘Serenity Now Photography’ for my site and watermarks.
