  1. F2 is not a “very fast lens”, I got this rangefinder here from 1970’s Yashica, with 35mm lens and f1.8. This camera should have been f1.4 Nothing less. You know when you buy something cheap you expect to make some sacrifices, but at this price tag?

  2. Hey, do you know “Photo SFXart Tricks” (just search on Google for it …)? There you can watch a smart free video showing the best way to make awesome photographs. It made it easier for Daniel to make pictures which have a wow-effect after you look at them. Hopefully it will work for you too…

  3. Good luck with that. DSLRs like D800 are not for everyday use purposes for sure. I know that, because I have D700 with several lenses and I use it for studio shots only. I’ve being waiting for full-frame camera like Sony RX1 for a very long time. Leica M9 is way too old and way too overpriced!

  4. There is nothing FUCKING wow about it! Try to find something like this for less than $6000!
There is nothing on the market like this available except freaking Leica M9 ($7000 for body only!!!!)

  5. The RX-100 is a great camera and I own one but there is no way it can compare to the RX1. Its a full frame camera so its up there with the likes of the Canon 5D Mark III or the Nikon D800.

  6. Full frame Leica with a summicron lens will cost you at least 10,000 USD. The fuji is in a totally different class of camera, no way it can compare with a full frame camera.

  7. Its expensive but not that expensive for what you get: a POCKET SIZED FULL FRAME and a good Zeiss lens. This camera’s IQ will probably be very competitive compared other full frame monsters like the 5D Mark III and the D800. Can’t wait for actual in-depth reviews to come in this November.

  8. The Zeiss lens alone is $1000. Being a digital full frame makes it already expensive as well. This is a good deal IMO
Oh and great choice on having the aperture dial on the lens it just feels great. Oh and leaf shutter. God I want this sooo bad

  9. I have not include how much money they want to sell this . Just the estimated price is high , so if we need to include other cost . It would be so expensive that normal people would not buy it . XD

  10. which camera did you use in this tutorial? I’ve been doing some research into them and that one seems really good, unless you used multiple cameras? I’m not interested in DSLRs so this gives me a lot more hope in buying a compact 🙂

  11. Currently I’m using a compact and I’m trying as much as I can to produce better shots just like those in the video. I wanted to get a bit more advanced so I decided to use a bridge camera because I cannot in any way afford a DSLR. So this video gives me hope that some day I may be a better photographer even without a DSLR. 🙂

  12. In this generation where most aspiring photographers seem to prefer heavy photo manipulation, photography tutorial videos like this are quite rare. Kudos to Karl Taylor for making a video about photography, making the most out of a compact camera, and not all about heavy post processing or as some people would call ‘photoshopping.’

  13. i tried many of these but my camera can’t do much on low light situations, not can capture the waves or the light of cars like that….

but thanks for the lessones, they help a lot and they make me appriciate my poor little camera more^^
