Canon PowerShot S95 Review

For the full Canon PowerShot S95 review, go to www.infosyncworld.com Canon’s fall lineup is more of an evolution than a revolution, and the Canon PowerShot S95 is a prime example. This beloved little pocket dweller packs an unsuspecting punch in the advanced controls department, and its image quality rivals the Canon PowerShot G12. Shooting with the Canon PowerShot S95 is unlike any other digital compact in its class, and we’re going to tell you why in this review. However, 2010 brings just four primary upgrades to the S95—720p HD video, RAW shooting, HDR (High Dynamic Range Shooting mode) along with a few other Scene modes, and Hybrid Image Stabilization. Canon did not alter the camera’s design or imaging system. On one hand, it’s nice not to toil with a good thing, but we’re fairly certain next year’s version of the Canon PowerShot S95 is going to receive more of an overhaul. The Canon PowerShot S95 is still one of the best compacts on the market, and we had very few complaints throughout our magical journey.

  2. This dude is in the bag for Canon. He likes to put Canons in his Nikon reviews … but only Canon in this review. I need an unbiased opinion.

If you are looking at this camera I think it’s very possible that you considered the all-singing, all-dancing market leading Super Zoom camera, the Panasonic TZ20 but have read reviews heavily criticising the Panasonic’s image quality.I have owned the TZ20 and this camera and my experience might …

  4. never ever use non genuine batteries in your camera. It could very well blow up in your face and possibily blind you. THat warning comes direct form the fbi

  5. Snapsort gives the s95 as the winner vs Xz-1, better picture picture quality, more color depth.

I just recently got the s95 as a gift and the picture quality is amazing, never seen as good photos from a small digital. I’ve seen the photos from the xz-1, as I turned it on at the store I work at. Good but not as good as s95.

  6. You can wait for the reviews of the s100 vs the s95, but it will be at least $200 more, for pretty much the same camera, excluding a few upgrades. S95 vs any other digital camera in it’s class on snapsort.com is a winner.

  7. Sx230 HS is good, but doesn’t compare to the s95 in terms of picture quality. The Sx230 has much bigger zoom if that’s what your after, I think (14X vs 3.8X). But within that 3.8 zoom you get amazing picture quality with the s95. I just received the s95 as a present, and it heads and tails in front of anything in the same range that I sell at a duty free store. Any other canon, sony, lumix isn’t even close, except for the Lumix lx-5 or the Olypmus xz-1.

  8. This design is incredible! You obviously know how to keep a reader entertained.

Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own
blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Excellent job. I really loved what you had
to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!
