  1. We’ve had this camera for about two years, Price was dead on for the
quality. Works like a champ and we have had no problems so far. The quality
of picture is great and the ease of use great. Someone who has never used
it can pick it up and take great shots, at the same time my professional
photographer sister, can use it with all the setting, bells and whistles of
knowing what she’s doing. All around Great Camera.

  2. I use my 60D for photo shoots, portraits, and receptions. It’s an awesome
versatile camera. I recommend getting a sharper lens instead of the kit
lens though. The kit lens is very good and the zoom is convenient, but if
you want to get a sharper image and wider aperture, get the body and invest
in a nice L lens. Also, being a crop-sensor, you will have to use distance
and zoom for a shallower DOF or get a wide angle, wide aperture lens.

  3. If any of you are from Southern California and looking for a full 60d kit
(includes 2 lenses, grip, filters, and manfrotto tripod) feel free to
    message me!

I didn’t understand a while back either until my 650D’s dials somehow
randomly changed modes on the mode dial.

It is useful when you are too lazy or forgetful to check what mode you are
on when taking a camera out of bags and what-not.

  5. I know this video is years old, but I cant understand why he said for a
first DSLR camera, it’s either the 550d or 60d. If I was buying a camera
back in 2010, it would be a 60d all day. The only thing that would dissuade
me would be the price. I’ve owned both and although the sensor is pretty
much, if not exactly, the same….the 60d blows the 550d away (faster max
    shutter speed, tilt screen, etc.)
