is this unit recommended to use a canon ef 70x300mm usm lens?
Yes. They are. 600D is the model name and for some reason here in the U.S. they give it that crazy T3I name to their cameras.

Just bought the rebel t3i love it
Just bought the 5100 brand new for only $450. The cheapest I could find the T3i new, factory sealed was $520 (plus tax on this one, so $565). $115 difference really helped make it an easy choice 🙂
